media studies

we started looking at age reprsentation and sound then we started o film our own film in a group.

it was fun.

week 2.

we looked at t.v drama conventions. binary oppositions and iconography we looked at to. this is to do with costume iconic figures and objects. we looked at the tv dramas life on mars and casulty. we analysed and discussed similarities. we had to write a 700 word essay on life on mars and casulty to be handed in by friday 9pm.

lesson summary of first week.

we looked at product advertisments of the media and discussed what they represent as a class, there was a range of product advertisments such as advertising hair dye, clothes and food stuff.

we alo looked at the leauge of gentlemen and the office both of which are comedys we disused the individualality of the characters in each show.
